Best Time for Dental Treatment of Pregnant Women
Any urgent dental treatment can be performed at any time during pregnancy. Traditionally, dental treatments in the first trimester are avoided to prevent potential harm to the developing fetus. Although there is no substantial evidence to confirm this. The best time for dental treatments during pregnancy is considered to be the second trimester (weeks 14 to 20). At this stage, there is no risk of teratogenesis (damage to the fetus), nausea and vomiting have decreased, and the uterus is not large enough to cause discomfort. It is important to address all dental issues during the second trimester, as some longer treatment sessions in the third trimester may be uncomfortable for the pregnant woman.

Importance of Dental Treatments
Over time and due to various reasons, such as aging or tooth extraction, individuals may lose their teeth. This not only affects the appearance and smile but also negatively impacts the ability to chew and eat properly. Fortunately, modern methods such as implants and orthodontics can fully address these issues, allowing you to have a beautiful and healthy smile once again.
